Article #1 - Title: The name of the Club shall be "Southern California Deaf Golf Club" (SCDGC), hereinafter referred to as the Club; and it shall operate pursuant to the laws of the State of California and the United States of America.

Article #2 - Purpose: The purpose of the Club is to foster deaf-related recreational golf tournaments, clinics, and/or supporting events throughout the year, all for the public competition, enjoyment, and social welfare, and for no other purpose.

Article #3 - Membership: Deaf and Hard of Hearing golfers and those who have a genuine interest in the deaf and hard of hearing community are eligible for membership. The Board of Directors shall determine annual membership dues. Members who are in good standing may be elected to the Board and serve on committees.

Article #4 - Board of Directors: Composition - The Board of Directors of the Club shall consist of five (5) members. Election of board members are held in conjunction with the [even numbered year] Annual SCDGC Championship which is typically held during the final quarter of each year; date, time and place to be determined by the Board.
